NETWORK MARKETING IS IT REALLY LUCRATIVE?

I remember hearing about network marketing and immediately thought “scams”  where it was to good to be true. I held on to that for years. I recently began researching companies that came out with products that appeared to be good. I found many had a lot in common in there approach. I would like to share some of that information with you because when you are uneducated you can make costly mistakes or fail to see when a reputable company comes along.

I use to cringe when folks would attempt to aggressively recruit me because of my position with people. It was difficult for me to say, NO because I wasn’t armed with information. My past experience as an educated has proved to be key when dealing with people about products and services.

RED FLAGS!!!!!!!!!!

  1. NOW IS THE TIME!
  2. ASK FOR  LARGE AMOUNT TO GET IN!
  3. NOT LISTED OR DOESN’T HAVE A GOOD RATING *BBB or Direct Sales
  4. ONLY THE FOLKS ON TOP GET PAID
  5. COMPENSATION PLAN NOT SOLID
  6. USES AGGRESSIVE SALES TACTICS
  7. TREND PRODUCT

When you see these types to things you need to stay away from these ideas because they can get you in a lot of trouble with those you bring into the business and those you sell to.

GREAT INDICATORS!!!!!!!!

  1. GREAT PRODUCT OR SERVICE
  2. SMALL START UP COST
  3. SOLID COMPANY
  4. GREAT COMPENSATION PLAN
  5. FOCUSES ON TEAM BUILDING
  6. OFFERS TO ALL *meaning products can be for entire household*
  7. NO TERRITORY ISSUES
  8. YOUR EFFORTS COUNT TOWARDS YOU
  9. OFFER GREAT  TRAINING
  10. ANYTIME IS A GOOD TIME TO JOIN

If  you see these kinds of offers and can prove them you have just found a solid network marketing company that can yield you anywhere from 500-10,000 month.  In the business that I am in people approach me all the time about joining their teams. I can’t take the risk of getting caught up in a company that will not be around. I encourage you to do your research before you jump in.

I have been afforded the opportunity to be a part of two great companies like Prepaid Legal, Independent consultant and Arbonne International. Please research both companies and you will find they are solid and have great compensation plans.

My gift for spreading the word about products!

My gift for "TELLING IT"

You can have this too, join a great team with a solid company. YOU ARE YOUR OWN BOSS! Create your own dream team and everyone can enjoy because it’s all about team work!

I Gotta Tell it!

Hello World, I have been so busy growing businesses and meeting so many wonderful folks are over the world. I was recently afforded the opportunity to be selected by the ABC Network Shark Tank, about my “Marketing Done Right” workshops/seminars. It was an honor to even be contacted by the  network. Only 100 people were selected and interviewed. I so enjoyed the audition process. My mind keeps telling me, you’re on to something little lady.

I have been developing this Awesome Mastermind of a Dream Team this past few weeks and the response has been overwhelming. I am going to give you some pointers or tips on how to see out the best of the best.   I put a post on Facebook earlier this week and my phones and emails increased tremendously. I stated very clearly I was seeking serious inquiries only and boy did I get just what I was seeking. When you are really trying to get your message out to prospects be specific in what you’re seeking. The people who are suppose to be on your team will respond.

I have never abused my network of associates by pestering them with every network marketing trends that pops up. That would be insane and shows I’m all over the place. I encourage each of you to find out what you want to leave as a legacy and get busy about that thing. I do network marketing and have been with the same long standing companies.  I will discuss in another blog key indicators to look for and STAY AWAY from network marketing ideas.

  1. Is the person already busy?
  2. Are they credible?
  3. Do they have a network already?
  4. Do they have a personality?
  5. Are they business-minded?
  6. Do they understand value?
  7. Are they seeking to improve their life while helping others?

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me @ sharenrooksagency@yahoo.com or call me @ 901-553-8901. Again, thanks for reading enjoy and find your purpose.

Surviving in this economy! Tip #2

Hello people, here  we are again discussing some great tips to help business owners survive and maintain revenue during this difficult time. We will examine  tip #2 dealing with CRITICAL NETWORKING.

This tip is very important to say the least. Some people believe any type of networking is key or good. I once again have questions about that facet of thinking. I say that because, whatever connections you are making while networking should be to make a KEY CONNECTION. I hope aren’t  going around just collecting business cards just to say they “ARE NETWORKING.”

Critical networking consist of meeting people with knowledge,  have other valuable connections, display a strong sense of character, have a trusted name in the  community and other social circles, known locally and maybe nationally. Example, if you are trying to get into corporate doors for speaking engagements you should be networking or connecting with folks in HR (Human Resources) not the Receptionist or Technician. The chances of you getting closer to a key decision maker would be better if someone in HR is seeing the value of what you offer and has discretionary time to listen or watch a demo or attend one of your FREE seminars or workshops.

Make sure you are remembering to get the most bang out of the social networking events. In addition, to understanding EVERY event is NOT relevant for you to attend, so be strategic in your goings to get the full benefit. When you have developed the principal # 1 Building a solid relationship then you can move into establishing critical networking techniques that will in turn bring you credence to lock in that deal. You have been in the RIGHT PLACES at the RIGHT TIMES and have proven to KEY contacts you can bring the GOODS.

I hope this information finds the proper application in your industry. Just remember to apply the tips and you should see results of a loyal relationship with your clients and those they refer to you developing.

Next week we will cover understanding the value of referrals!

Surviving the Economy Concept # 1

Last week, I talked about key factors that were essential for maintaining success during this difficult time. Comments were submitted by seasoned business owners in various industries. Well, we are going to examine each area beginning with BUILDING A SOLID BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP.

The first step to success in any business venture is to build a solid business relationship. One may think,  it’s merely just an exchange of money and services. WRONG!

When you are building a relationship, you are establishing trust, integrity, character, strong networking traits and so much more. When the initial point of contact is made  a show of  approval is in order to reach the next point. For example,  you maybe very knowledgeable about  the product or service,  along with that to die for smile, not to mention wearing that wonderful pin strip suit or the bright orange stilettos and matching jacket. In addition, to expressing all the selling points to the consumer and really following through with what your services or products claim to do. You are moving closer to sealing the DEAL!

It ‘s a wonderful concept when these things are accomplished because it sends a message that you are creditable. With credibility comes more work and more work equates to more income. Be willing to answer questions to bring clarity to your potential clients. If they asking, then they are thinking!  I have seen so many folks lose out because, they are impatient and not understanding how to send the message to the client that you are so important.

Relationship- 1.means being related, connection, association

2. a connection based on personal, business, political or other contacts

KEY WORDS PEOPLE: related, connection, association

If the consumer can’t relate to you why should they spend money with you over a  duration. I don’t know about you all but when I pay tuition for my son I must have a CONNECTION; otherwise it’s not going to last very long.

Get to know your clients’  special dates, such as birthdays, anniversaries of business, milestones, favorite vacations spots, remember names, faces of their employees, communicating with clients just because, to see how things are going….not asking for anything but also offering to help them. It’s look like we are building a relationship here.

Surviving in this economy!

Sharen Rooks

Many small and mid size businesses are struggling during this rough economic time. I have witnessed some really great mom and pop businesses call it quits after years of getting by and just living comfortable. I have wondered how, they endured so long. When one decides to become a entrepreneur it takes much research, determination, personality, effort, hard work, finances and solid business practices.  Well, I took all those qualities and spoke with folks all around to find out the single most important trait that was their foundation. You are going to be amazed with the responses  I share with you, the summation of about 20-30 conversations which took place via phone, emails, and face-to-face meetings over a 3month period. I have listed the top comments many business owners have lived by for many years and  have remained in business for so long.

1.Building a solid business relationship

2. Critical networking

3.Understanding the value of connections and referrals

4.Being honest in business practices

5.Having a great personality that shines

6.Willing to give

These are some great tips to incorporate with any business. It’s important to make sure people understand who you are and what you represent. Branding is an idea or concept: which also encompasses image. Be mindful people are watching, talking, listening and deciding who they are going to trust with their money. Let’s make sure it’s you!

What’s Missing in Small Business?

Well, there are alot of things missing in small business these days.  First, and foremost the small business owner is missing the financing to even get his or her dream off the ground. I meet so many struggling authors, writers, speakers, entertainers, you name it I’ve seen it. They’re not equipped to really compete in mainstream. I often wonder, is it always going to be this way? Well, the little guy invests 90% of his savings to take a risk and is still lacking some critical pieces of the business and the answer is he has not been trained or mentored from the beginning just jumped out and took off.

My ability to offer Premarketing Workshops in this region have paid off tremendously for many emerging business owners like yourself. I help answer questions like- what is branding? Why is a website important? I don’t like networking, so how can I meet new people? Who do I target with my products and services? How do you do an email campaign? All these questions and more are answered in my 2hour interactive workshops “Marketing Done Right.”  I enjoy the fact when I coach clients 1 on 1 and they share the results of what I’ve taught them step by step.

They are seeing the incomes grow, social circles increase and just all around things getting better and their image within the community or their particular field or skillset building.
